Dive Trips

25% Deposit is required to secure the booking, the balance to be paid no later than six weeks before the Trip begins.

All payments to be made by bank transfer, bank draft or in cash. Unfortunately we do not accept credit cards

If we cancel your booking for any reason we will refund you your deposit in full without further claim agains us. If you cancel your booking deposits are not refundable.

Guests are advised to ensure that they take out travel insurance to include diving activities. Whilst onboard 3rd party liability insurance cover is provided, this does not cover equipment, we are not responsible for loss or damage to clients belongings. In the water no liability can be accepted.

While every effort will be made to get you to your desired dive sites decisions regarding safety and weather are ultimately the responsibility of the skipper.

In the event of a significant increase in the price of fuel we reserve the right to levy a fuel surcharge in addition to the original price. This will be based on actual fuel used.

Training

All students participating in PADI diver training programmes will be required to complete the mandatory PADI course documentation answering all the questions in an honest manner. Any known medical conditions must be declared to your instructor at Oceanaddicts before the start of the course. Failure to declare medical conditions in accordance with the PADI Medical form that later becomes known will result in the student’s suspension from the course until a satisfactory medical certificate has been gained.

If you have any YES answers on the medical statement on the day of your course then you need to get a Doctor to sign the form to say you are fit to dive. If this has not been done you will not be able to dive

For PADI Experience Programmes i.e Discover Scuba, Discover Snorkelling payment in full is required on the day of the experience. i

A Deposit is required to secure a place on all other PADI Courses, the amount of the deposit varies depending on which course is taken.

For PADI Divemaster a crewpack is required, this will need to be paid in advance. All the training material is not through PADI eLearning.

Deposits and payments for courses are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

All Deposits are non refundable

If you are unable to attend a course, or part of a course and provide us with notice of this, we will endeavour to reschedule your course to another date that is suitable to you and fits into our schedule We do not provide any refunds and any part payments made for courses will remain in credit from a period of one year from booking booking date.

Failure to complete the full course requirements for any reason caused by the student, may result in additional charges being made to complete the course at a later stage. This includes not being able to demonstrate competence to meet the performance requirements as laid down by the PADI Course Standards.

In the event that a situation arises and Oceanaddicts are unable to deliver your course on pre-arranged dates, we will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible and will re-schedule your course.

We are required to hold your personal details for a period of 7 years as required by PADI International Limited. We will at all times treat your details with respect and will not share them with any other company.

Oceanaddicts will supply equipment for all courses up to professional level, however it’s a good idea to consider purchasing your own mask and snorkel which we can help with.

For Divemaster courses we strongly recommend you invest in your own equipment prior to the course, we will do our best to assist you with this.
