Good Buoyancy is an essential skill for every diver.  Once  you have mastered excellent buoyancy control you will glide effortlessly, use less air and ascend, descent and hover with eased allows you to observe aquatic life without disturbing their surroundings.. The Peak Performance Buoyancy speciality improves the buoyancy skills your learned in your Open Water course and elevates them to the next level.

What you will Learn

  • Determine the exact weight you need, so you’re not too light or too heavy.
  • Trim your weight system and scuba gear so you’re perfectly balanced in the water.
  • Streamline to save energy, use air more efficiently and move more smoothly through the water.
  • Hover effortlessly in any position – vertical or horizontal.


During the course you will do two dives. The first dive can count as an adventure dive if you are working towards your Advanced Open Water certification.
